In a cruel twist of fate, his empire is attacked by an unknown entity, plunging the realm into a state of utter chaos. Desperate to restore order and bring peace to his people, Lucien is forced to strike a perilous deal. Suddenly, he is thrust into a different realm ruled by unspeakable horrors of unimaginable power, armed only with a soul-bound artifact to aid him on his quest.

With his trusty will-o-wisp bond, Teruo, by his side, Lucien embarks on a treacherous journey to vanquish these horrors and uphold his end of the bargain. But as he delves deeper into the mysteries surrounding the artifact and the realm's dark past, Lucien will be tested. Will he remain true to himself and his people, or succumb to the will of others? The road to redemption is fraught with peril and unexpected twists and turns, but Lucien must summon all of his strength and cunning to emerge victorious against the terrors that lie ahead.
