Kai was a regular human living a not-quite-regular life until he unexpectedly died, during tutorial or something. However, instead of entering the afterlife, Kai finds himself transformed into a snake in a changed world filled with dangerous creatures and powerful magic.

As he struggles to adapt to his new form and surroundings, he quickly discovers that while his new form offers new possibilities, being a starter-level mob is not exactly an easy way to survive.

This story is your good old introduction into the wider universe type of novel. But from the perspective of a monster. I haven't encountered any novel with a non-human lead in this genre so I decided to write one.
