Pyra lived a simple life, she had never needed much. Her mountain home provided most of what she needed and she kept to herself otherwise. That changed with this year's wildfire. While the region begins preparations for evacuation the township nearby hires a party of adventurers to oversee everyone to safety while handling the monsters and creatures likewise chased out of their dens. Last on the list, Pyra has to trust in these strangers or brave the fires once again.

Lilian however, lived an exciting life. Traveling the vast breath of the world with nothing but her sword arm and her adventuring companions. Never slowing never stopping, always rushing after that next battle high. For her this was the good life, and there was nothing that could make it better. When her party was contracted to help a town with a monster problem, of course she accepted. It was easy money after all.
