Johnathan 'Tilly' Tillman almost makes it through his last shift at the station when he catches a fire call that changes everything.

I have mostly written this in-between calls at the station and I draw a lot of inspiration from how crazy the job can get sometimes. MC is as close as I could get him to some of the toughest, smoke-diving, no non-sense people on the planet. (I work with some real badasses and I have always wanted to explore what would happen if we threw one of them into another world.)

Yes to blue screens and RPG influence. No to harems, shallow motivations, or railroaded plot. MC is not overpowered or always chancing into fortunate encounters.

Also final warning, fight scenes will have blood, there are occasional cusswords and there are puns... Terrible, terrible puns.
