You were supposed to be watching him...

When Elijah Morrison disappeared on November 13, 1989 his family did all the right things.

However, after search and rescue efforts are sent in the wrong direction, his father, Samuel, follows Elijah's trail into the Appalachians against strict instruction from local authorities and federal agents.

Accompanied by his brother, uncle, and cousin, Samuel tracks the soldiers on his son's path, fully prepared for bears, mountain lions, and an arduous trek through the mist-covered ranges of the Great Smokies.

As they make their way deeper into the mountains, however, it becomes clear that an ancient evil has them in its grasp...
