Fate, Eternity, Space, Time, Life, Death - On the flat world of Arret where stars rise in the west and the moon never sets, there exists a 'Concept' for every idea conceived, and these Concepts are masked, immortal magicians embodying the very idea they are named after.
'Heart' spends every single day of her immortal life tending to her Silkmoths, weaving and sewing and singing songs to herself while secluded on a little island in the middle of nowhere - and for the past eight millennia she has done precisely so, living each day exactly the same as the last, not once daring to go beyond her little island.
But, one night, calamity befalls her eternity. Stars wink out one by one and the seas evaporate before her eyes, her island unfortunate collateral damage in a battle between powerful Concepts. Now, faced with the destruction of her home, she is forced to venture off into the world for the first time in eight millennia, armed only with a sewing needle she can turn into a flute and what she believes is the weakest magic in the world.
"... Travelling by myself can't be that bad, can it?"
What to expect:
An emotional yet fiercely determined protagonist.
A massive fantasy world explored through lots of travelling. Lots of it. Characters move from new place to new place between arcs, making for an epic-fantasy story with lots of worldbuilding and intricate lore.
A story with lots of character and landscape illustrations, all machine made and further drawn upon by me.
Connections between characters and events from this fiction with those from 'World Concept - Absolute' and 'World Concept - Infinite', as all three fictions take place in the same world. It isn't necessary to read all three to understand what happens in one, however. Each fiction can be read standalone.
If you like long epic-fantasy stories with very light LitRPG elements and deep mysteries about the world itself, 'World Concept - Heart' might just be the right story for you.
(Note: The LitRPG elements don't show up until later in the first arc, and even after that it'll be very light in this first stage. The focus of this first stage is to set up the foundations of the story, after which the complete LitRPG elements will slowly phase in.)
