Roman Miller is a violent man. Not in a savage or unreasonable way; he is a professional, after all. Once a rising star of the mixed martial arts community, he disappeared from the public eye following a controversial loss. But his little-anticipated return to the spotlight is eclipsed when calamity descends upon the world. Unfathomable beings of cruel and capricious fancy claim the stars now belong to them; for their unending entertainment, the survivors are forced to partake in a battle royale, governed by a system designed to drive them mad.

Roman's not happy about it, but he may be better suited for this new world than the old one. He's not unfamiliar with his every move being watched by judging eyes, even if these eldritch horrors have a few too many. After all, someone has to show them that these violent delights have violent ends.
