It was a stupid quote that was obviously made by someone who'd thought contradictory equals deep. But standing balls-deep in the unforgiving bog known as showbiz, Kadar didn't have much choice but to follow it. Of course, just like the quotee himself, his life would come to an abrupt and unfulfilling end...

Except it hadn't. Not really.

Part of Kadar's soul now resides in another world where he is both aided and hindered by a curious Soul System that 'rewards' its user with the chance to temporarily return to their original life. But in a harsh world where power revolves around an individual's soul, can Kadar really survive with one split between three people and the instincts he'd developed from his past?
