By all accounts, the girl known as Sofie Yvanova should have been dead. The last thing she remembered was being on the wrong end of a gun, her home destroyed by the Nazi war machine. Yet when she awoke she was not, instead on a world called Evra where myth, legend, and magic are common. A world which has been stuck unable to grow due to a group known as the Council of Peace.

Any chance to gain some semblance of a peaceful life was ripped from her the moment she arrived. Branded as the Lord of Terror, an individual from another world brought to bring change in times of need, Sofie is tossed into a conflict all too familiar to her home. The only hope she has of gaining that peace she wishes for is to take down the council and restart the cogs of technological and cultural change in this new world.
