Illa had always been in a state of partial confinement, whether it be from the social isolation forced upon her by her stepmother, the uncaring attitude of her father, or the wheelchair she required to get around. She had even been unfairly banned from tending the garden when she accidentally passed out while working for a completely unrelated reason.
