The universe has been colonized by humans, but still greed runs rampant. Entire worlds are juggled for profit, and the outermost sections of the universe are reduced to trash. Within all of this exists the Greater Connection. A grand system that turned the lives of some into games. Turning them into weapons of war or champions of entertainment.

Those who receive a token Greater Connection are able to participate in the Trials of Evolution, changing from normal humans to something more. Everyone desires these avenues for power, though only a few are given the right. And even fewer succeed. This is a story that will follow those that have passed the trial; those that pursue greater heights through the Greater Connection.
