Should I just pick a class, and let this endless grinding stop? With how shit the growth rate of my skills is, can I even reach the Transcendent-tier for any of my skills?
Life was good for a young noble in a medieval fantasy-like world. Well, the fantasy part could be questioned, since doing bathroom business was still medieval royalty at best. But at the end of the day, did it matter though? All of those were gone in just one night, and no one was prepared. Not even the self-titled 21st Century man living his new life as a sixteen-year-old. But hey, shit happens, right?
He and the rest of the world were thrown into another dimension. Friends, families, and allies were scattered throughout this new realm as they could only rely on themselves to fend for their lives. And Zach was no exception. His first few minutes itself was wrought with the trial of fire and death, and considering he lived afterward, it seemed his prior knowledge of RPG had finally had some use to him.
Zach accepted the change and embarked with the heart of an adventurer in mind. Something he had yearned while living behind the walls of Feywood, and his dream was starting to bloom. He fought when needed. He helped others whenever he could, and he devoted himself to the daily grind. Sharpening his skills to the utmost limit, hoping to reach the highest tier, the Transcendent.
But life was not always that easy, even more so in this new realm where dangers could come out at every nook and cranny. Monsters of every shape and size. Vile and envious men lusting for power. Treachery at every corner. Rival houses determined to stomp against one another. And not to forget, the ones that cause all of this, the higher beings that dictated the chess board from within the shadows, the Qaisars. They tempted the hearts of men and women alike, with a promise of power, dominance, beauty, and immense wealth, if he or she fought under their banner, by receiving their unique classes.
But not Zach. He stayed true to who he is, and what he wanted. Freedom…
Nothing would shackle him, and nothing could make him bend. He's a man that would one day stand at the top, and he would stop at nothing to achieve that. Be it against monsters, men, and even Qaisars…
Aw, come on! A penalty again? This system sucks!
