Lyra Nimor and the crew of Rixon Charter Service return to her homeworld of Inusagi. Old family grievances complicate Lyra's struggle to reconcile her new life with her tragic past. Meanwhile, a shadowy criminal syndicate joins forces with an ancient Sith bent on galactic domination, and treachery casts a shadow over the pastoral Sakoola Blossom Festival.
"Star Wars: The Ghosts of Inusagi" is the third book in a series of adventures described in my previous works, Razorclaw: Adventures of a Rebel Cell , and Rixon Charter Service . Although this is a standalone story, you can read those books to catch up on the characters and their relationships, as well as some of the language and references to previous events.
Much of this story takes place on the titular world of Inusagi, which debuted in Beth Revis's excellent book "Star Wars: Rebel Rising". I've extrapolated many aspects of Inusagi, including its location, people, and customs, to round out the information provided in Ms. Revis's book. While not necessary to understand this story, I can heartily recommend "Rebel Rising" for its fantastic storytelling about Jyn Erso, one of the most complex and engaging heroes of the Star Wars universe.
"The Ghosts of Inusagi" takes place about 2 years after the Battle of Endor. Dates shown at the beginning of each chapter use the Great Re-synchronization calendar, which began 35 years before the events shown in "Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope".
