A personal love letter to the Urban Fantasy genre.A tale of dreams, friendship, and perseverance.Three best friends. Three promising teenagers from the mean streets of New York City. They didn't have much, and life was hard. One thing's for sure - they had each other.
That was, until a chance encounter with the supernatural one fateful evening tore their lives apart. But, how much could be really chalked up to fate?
Please bear with me. This was conceived of for the write-a-thon, but I wound up getting a little ahead of myself and churned out 61k words in under a week, which I published at first draft quality. I've been going back for an edit job and Chapters 1 - 16 are roughly at second draft quality now.I used to write some moderately popular fanfiction for The Dresden Files, Fate / Stay Night, and Worm, and returned to writing in October of 2022 after a 5 year hiatus. This is my first original work, and it's a love letter to a genre I hold dearly at my heart. Urban Fantasy. I appreciate any and all feedback you might have.
