Doug Salinger, a down and out loser in Los Angeles, finds himself in hot water after a debt he owed to a friend gets bought by the Russian mob who come looking to take Doug's legs if he doesn't pay up in six days. Desperate to get his hands on some serious cash in a hurry, Doug's fortunes take a turn for the strange when he discovers a portal to the fairy tale world at his local golf course, and discovers an addictive plant that grows there, but doesn't grow in our world.

Sensing a unique business opportunity to profit off a powerful narcotic our world has never known, Doug enlists his friends to start their own drug trafficking operation. Little does he know, major players in the drug trade, along with a shadowy government agency, and the DEA are all paying attention.

Meanwhile, in Fairyland, Cinderella desperately tries to escape the wrath of her evil stepmother who's had her committed to the Asylum for the Fairly Insane, only to find out humans have discovered a way into her world and they're taking a common weed that grows there with them. Keen to understand their attraction to the useless plant, Cinderella uncovers its addictive properties and realizes selling it could free her in more ways than one, and bring her a life of riches she's never known. That's if she can sort through her feelings for both Prince Charming and Gretel's handsome brother, Hansel.

With the help of her friends the Three Bears, and Rumpelstiltskin, Cinderella makes a bold decision to stop letting the world push her around, to take advantage of the portal opening between the fictional and human worlds, and to build an empire by forming a drug cartel all her own.
