At the end of his life, Oscar faced the Demon King to protect all that he loved. As their battle came to an end, neither could truly be called the winner as both fell to the other's blade: a draw, in the most sincere sense. Now Oscar awakens 400 years after his climactic battle, with a younger body and a world vastly different than the one he once lived in. With nothing to fight for, he decides to live for himself and only himself. He was done with conflict, and simply desired one thing—peace.

Now, if only the world would let him have that.

Notice: I'm writing just to write. And if I want to make anything of my writing, I have to practice. That is what this story is to me: practice. I am open to all good-natured criticism and I hope anyone who reads enjoys what I have to offer.

When I write, I just sort of regurgitate words onto the page and just post as soon as it's done. Inevitably, there will be a lot of mistakes because of this (this is not an excuse), but I always go back and edit after a few days have passed.
