Princess Nesrin has been told about her destiny since the day she turned four. Taken away from her kingdom on her first birthday to be brought up in seclusion by the former General of her Kingdom, a harsh trainer who holds the Queen's interests. A few weeks after Nesrin's sixteenth birthday she is swept back up to her Kingdom and into the jaws of the court, she grew so far away from.

Upon Nesrin's arrival they dress her up for the party they are throwing for her return, seeing her father for the first time and completely unprepared for what awaited her. There at the party, she meets the majestic and mysterious Princess Eris Sealing of the Neclea Kingdom and she is enraptured immediately. Eris is utterly enchanting and Nesrin is unable to tear herself away. At that moment the biggest problem she seems to have is the fact that she is already betrothed to another.
