Ned lives a quiet life by himself in the countryside. At least until his ceiling turns all shimmery-silvery-liquidy and drops a Princess onto his couch. A Princess leaking blood on his cushions and requiring urgent care for poisoned shrapnel wounds.
And the Princess comes with a much bigger set of problems. Slapping a piece of plastic on a sucking chest wound is the least of the burdens that will fall on Ned's shoulders as he learns that the reward for rescuing a Princess is pain.
And a Princess' friendship comes with a title: Dad!
