A strange blight has gripped major parts of the world. A world filled with supernatural and mythical beasts alike. The disease turns humans into rampaging monsters at night. A disease passed by blood. Many blame the vampires and werewolves for it thinking they caused it by transmitting one person's blood into another through feasting and ripping through human flesh resulting into creating a mutant magic germ.

The kingdoms grow desperate as the season of darkness is approaching and soon no light will cover the lands for the next 6 months. They call onto every sorcerer in the world to find the cure and stop the spread.

Whoever finds the cure first will be able to study under the Magnus Maji, leader of all the world's sorcerers and become their apprentice.
