Kael is not the logical choice to be gifted the amplifier core of the gods. He is a wheelchair bound cripple. Baldric sees something in him though. Something greater than might. Something most of the mightiest of men do not possess. It is the bedrock of what makes a great man or a tyrant. Kael will find his world turned upside down as he is torn from the earth that he has called home and deposited on the second rock from the sun. He must participate in a millennia's long game. A game of might. A game of life and death. All the planets of our system have been won except two. He with all the planets is king. The only problem is Earth has never won a single planet. Is the core enough to conquer worlds? Will Kael be the catalyst of change?
