It is February 1941 and the London Blitz is at its height. Brad Gold, the most famous Hollywood star of the Silver Screen was born in London and was one of the first overseas volunteers to return to the old country to defend it against the Nazis. Already a pilot he joins Bomber Command and after a crash is given leave, but disappears. His wife, actress Marcia La Mare flies to the war-torn capital to find him. Scotland Yard cannot find him, with the war they have enough on their plate, but suggest she uses a private eye, a former police inspector who lost a foot in WWI. Together, will they find Marcia's husband?
