Myles finds out that he is dying of old age. As he laments that he hasn't led a fulfilling life, he meets a Traveler, who presents an opportunity for a second chance. Myles seizes the opportunity and finds himself on Ixion, an infant world, full of magic.

A cosmic being grants everyone on Ixion access to magic that Myles never thought possible. Myles meets new friends to help him navigate this new world and together they solve mysteries, resist Leez's evil plans, and of course, slay lots of monsters in their pursuit of growth and adventure.

Will they be able to stop Leez and mitigate the damage he has brought upon Ixion?
