Time flows so fast. It's still hard to believe that the backbone of all armies, mages, had been replaced by a horde of mindless puppets. No matter how strong you are, it's more likely you'll run out of mana than its quantity will fall. Mages were no more necessary war dogs in every war. However, fate has a sense of humor. One of the empires produced a new type of weapon, homunculi. The *Perfect* war machine, as they said. They thought it'll change the world, and their hegemony is inevitable, but they failed to hold secrets inside and now, everyone has a *modern* type weapon.

That's so great, a Lich thought looking at the sunset. World chaos is the best time.
