Victor Foreshock is many things. A genius mage, a fallen noble, a Warmage of the Empire, a Brother, and now a traveler.

After ending his time in the Carian millitary, Victor finds the road home to be long, treacherous, and filled with far more people than he would prefer. Victor must contend with the people, monsters, and landscape in his way as he travels across his crumbling Empire, and do so all while escorting a new apprentice he did not ask for.
