On those days, we pray to our gods, for our sins, for the souls of those who are no more among us, to protect us from evil and the monsters that stalk us in our weakest moments.

So little did we know.

We were so dumb; we were so naïve.

Those same Gods that we awakened, were the same monsters that we prayed never to find.

We were enslaved, tortured, transformed, and forced upon a war, in which that we could barely classify as ants, only for amusement.

From the oldest days when we were masters of our planet, when we controlled our destiny, and when we lived in our happy bubble, to the old days where God die and hope was regained.

All of that until now, when those masters of the universe that believed to be free and to regain our glory came to realize that we are now the weakest link in this dreadful world.

We lived in caves for fear of everything that we thought we understood, we hunt insects to survive the starvation that keep us awake, we drink the water that fells upon us from the sky to alleviate our thirst that never ends. We can never be calm again; shadows lie in wait for our smallest mistake.

We forgot the glory of humans, the hunger for knowledge, the thirst for war and power, the houses full of love and caring, and the power to tame it all. For that we made seven sacred rules. -

Never go near rivers, oceans, or lakes, the gods of death and storm never forgive.

Always listen to your hunch when hunting, because everything will kill.

Run from every shadow that moves, Shadows are the servants of those who we cannot speak about.

Beware of the silence, that's where the nightmare lives.

Always follow the tribe, because loneliness summons the voice.

Only live for yourself, never return to save someone.

Don't Pray, never pray, prays become the monsters from which we run.

never to be broken, until now, when a new god came, the un-namable, the monster which teared everything, feared, unpredictable, untamable, our god, our only hope, and our biggest fear.
