James was neck deep in lizards when the world shifted. The forest changed around him and unbeknownst to him so did his former life of safety. Strange plants strangled the familiar greenery and humanoid creatures inhabit the shadows around him. Stranger still are the words floating in front of his eyes.

James was an ordinary animal wrangler. Sly, greedy, and handy with a knife he is now forced to adapt to the changes around him. But first he has to survive. That is easier said then done. James soon realises he is neck deep in enemy territory, and shadows cover the tracks of monsters that roam the forest in search of humans. In this new world there is only a single rule.
