This is the first testament of William Elser. It's an emotionally brutal story filled with disturbing scenes, offensive content, and tragedy. For God's sake, don't read it unless you are ready to be emotionally traumatized. It's not necessary to read to follow the series. You can skip it and read subsequent books.
In this testament, William Elser suffers an emotional loss that turns him into a fascist monster of epic proportions. He turns to the unholy seeking revenge. Elser is then tasked by Severn to find a prophecy that holds the key to Severn defeating the forces of heaven and winning the war of armageddon.
