The GDU (Government Defence Unit) is an organisation that works to protect Earth and its people, it's final aim being to bring peace to the world. They offer free protection against the evil race of the Vizicans while they work to bring peace between both Humans and Vizicans alike.

They allow people who are over twenty too apply to join their cause out of their own free will and tell the public everything except things that have to be kept a secret due to confidential reasons.
