Elsie Blackwood, magic enthusiast and scion of the noble Blackwood family, has resigned herself to a boring life free of adventurous pursuits. It's to be expected. A weak mage such as herself had no hope of surviving the In-Between, much less the unexplored expanse of the Myrealms. However, as she is spurred on by visions of a nightmarish future she might just change her fate, and the fate of those around her.
