Nine months ago, Isaac Kohen woke up in his pajamas in a dungeon in another world. All he had were the clothes he was wearing and a magical word in his head that, when written down, would bring a golem to life.

He aches to go home, to speak with his father one more time, but he is hopelessly lost in this other universe, with no clear path back to Earth. His only lead is that same dungeon that dumped him in this world to begin with. Isaac's problems continue to plague him. He grapples with his complicated relationship with his father. He struggles to make sense of his place, both on Earth and in this new world.

The Truth About Dungeons follows Isaac as he delivers groceries for rent, explores the bizarre shifting depths of the dungeon, and pieces together a way to get back home. All the while he meditates on what it means to live the life that he has chosen.
