After the True Dragon, a monstrous dragon powerful enough to stomp over countries and raze armies, appears and delivers an ultimatum declaring the country as his own, Jet, officer in the King's Army, has been tasked with recruiting the only mage powerful enough to stand a chance against the monstrous being: a man known as Gideon, the strongest dragon-slaying mage known to the kingdom.
