Maeve Morgan decided to be born once, but she doesn't quite remember why. A voice told her to tell her story, but she's not sure exactly how. She just wants to re-shingle her roof, and maybe catch a gnome. Meanwhile, in another Timeline, Bardlii Noonstar embarks upon a quest to chronicle the adventures of a common hooded rat, which the Sentient City of Owl believes to be the Realm's next greatest hero. Somehow, all of this is connected. Which of the various Narrators will be able to untangle to knot?

This Writathon has gotten me to re-think my approach to my book, which I've been trying to figure out how to write for the last few years, on and off. It's been a slow process. The time limit is what helped me get past the second-guessing, as I've had to just keep writing enough to stay in the race. It's renewed my confidence that I have a first book in me, and I'm excited to continue! It's very rough but I'm also very happy with where it's going in my head again. I'm also looking forward to reviewing other people's work! I wish I had time to read every one!
