The series is set in an alternate world, where magic exists and has been polished through modern technology. However, the ability to use magic is determined by genetics, limiting the number of magicians in existence.

The story follows a protagonist Grey joining the Merthyr Academy a High School for Magicians in Lunar City and became a 'Outcasts' student. As he entered this high school he encountered a Vampire Girl who concidently became his roommate. As she was already running from the people who were after her life, Grey unconsciously gave her his hands and swear to protect her as their life begins to go through many life changing Events.
