Richard Elliot is torn off the street and left in a forest on an alien world, but he isn't the only thing taken there. Part of the city came with him, and now he's lost in a strange blend of civilization and nature / Geoff Friction finds his friend suddenly gone, and parts of the city vanished with him. Now features of an alien forest have appeared in their place, and it's starting to look like an invasion.

It must be caused by the monster that appeared suddenly in the sky that morning. The monster the aliens call Warbinger.
