The black sky rumbled. A beastman crashed into the cobbled streets of Kelmis, a man returned from his five-year journey out to sea. The man, Oran Naro, rose from the rubble, the corpse of a terrible beast clutched in his hands.

"We've all been deceived!" he proclaimed. His body was bathed in blood, both his and that of the beast's. "This is no eternal night sky, but a ceiling above! Find the surface and retake it for us once more!"
