What happens when you add some base building, strategy, and litRPG class leveling? You find yourself in Joshua's situation.

When a car explodes, Joshua is hurled into another realm, where he learns he's been chosen as the new ruler of Caher Drommore, a ruined fortress with only a handful of citizens remaining. As the new lord, he's responsible for rebuilding the town, finding new craftsman, and expanding his domain.

But he soon realizes it won't be an easy task—monsters encroach on all sides, supplies are running low, and the only person willing to help him is an outcast dark elf warlock. To make matters even worse, he has to raise taxes for the mad king, while also finding the money to pay for the Fomorians tribute.

Joshua needs to get his settlement up and running as fast or possible or he's going to meet the same fate as the lord before him—and he really doesn't want his head to end up on Fomorian pike.
