From a once peaceful and otherwise perfect race, came the deceptions. Jealousy of others and lies created from truth. They knew no violence before, but once they discovered it, it became a way of life. But the two boys who had been hidden from their world since birth, knew nothing about the happenings beyond the walls of their home. So when young Avyne stepped outside for the first time and that birdlike creature took him up in her talons, carrying him far away, Rayne's only concern was getting him back. The two brothers though close, are about to go on journeys which will take them far away from each other.
