Snatched from their tabletop role-playing game by mysterious aliens to play in a real life simulation game based on their game scenarios and campaigns from the 1980s, six friends end up taking on the personas of their made up characters to supposedly rescue the aliens from danger. Instead, the companions end up on a wild ride making up plans as they go, and usually failing on most everything they try.
