Unexpectedly, yet somewhat expectedly, an apocalypse occurred.

Born into this hellhole was Emma, the 18-year old daughter of the Ironthorn tribe leader. Her life was not one of struggle: she had access to water, food, and shelter. At least, it was more than most people had.

But when her tribe was murdered, enslaved, and robbed of everything they had, the spoiled and weak Emma was left as a slave on her way to be sold to some person as a chamber slave. However, during the transport, the caravan of bandits was attacked.

Ruthlessly, the shadowy figure moved in the darkness, slashing throats and using Emma's tribesmen as meat shields.

He undoubtedly saved her life… but not for the right reasons.
