A young woman named Cat finds out she has the ability to summon magical energy. She is then scorned by her boyfriend for her power and sets his sights on destroying her. He almost kills her by trying to force her to hold a disc that causes her to release the power, that she has no control over. Her power is very dangerous and can destroy whole rooms in minutes. She gets sent to an elite fighting school to learn how to master the energy. There she meets a young man named George who has a secret that if exposed could harm them all.
