Of note, are Skills of which any sentient may only have five. They are competencies and proficiences, an unnatural affinity towards a particular discipline that can shape someone's entire life, if not open more paths in it. Of course, even children are offered these powerful Articles, and like all others they can range from Common to the rumored Legendary.

Some people, however, are not content to use up their precious slots on Common Skills.
