I woke up in the middle of a forest. Nobody in sight.

Countless thoughts passed through my mind.

Had I been kidnapped? But who would want to kidnap me?

And oh god, where was my mask?

I had thought it was all a dream.

Little did I know what would come next.

PSA: Very SlOW in the early chapters. Hoping to go for a lot of character development in this one. The story is essentially an Isekai set within the world of Terraria. Many mature elements and themes will be covered, and the story will touch on things like abuse, depression, mental health, etc. It is also set a few months into the pandemic (specifically May 2020). And again, it starts off SLOW, so do be warned! And take caution in case any of the above is not your cup of tea!

Anyhow, this is a fanfiction that I've been thinking of lately while worldbuilding for my other story, and despite initially just being a way to improve my writing, it has really become a project close to my heart. (Go my fellow Terraria addicts!) I am releasing (hoping to at least) one chapter-ish every day for a month to force myself from procrastinating. After that, the update speed will probably slow down but, fingers crossed, I'll see if I can still do updates at least 3-4 times a week. (No promises though, writing is hard af agh ;_;)

P.S. You don't need to have played Terraria at all to read the story! It is based on the game, but things are very different in 3D. The mechanics of the story is also heavily influenced by Re-Zero, so expect something similar to it, though the plot and characters are vastly different.
