This world may still need heroes, but it certainly doesn't need me.
Twenty years ago, I was Islavan's hero, the one called upon to slay the Demon Lord and her infernal army.
I did my job. I saved the world. I earned my retirement.
But disconcerting rumors have been making their way from the demon kingdom recently, and something needs to be done about them.
Islavan is calling upon me once more to train the next generation to take up the mantle of heroes.
There are too many years in my bones to be playing adventurer again, but something is coming, and it could very well be more dangerous than even a Demon Lord.
After more than two decades, I'd thought that part of my life was behind me.
I was wrong.
Though, I have a feeling that my party is in for far more than I ever bargained for, and it looks like my quiet retirement may be well and truly gone for good.
[This is the first draft of the story, and as such, will more than likely contain a plethora of grammar errors, inconsistencies, and plot holes. Eagle-eyed readers are very much appreciated.]
[Updates Weekly. (Though, if interest soars beyond my expectations, I will move to twice weekly updates.)
