Everything changed for Mark when he nearly lost it after a mechanical cat crashed to the ground. This turn of events led him to meeting Diamond, the inventor of time travel. Diamond comes from a lasting era called the Present, which began when Jansky took control of the Archive and used it to remove the future.

Now Diamond sends a team into Greece in 404 BCE to take the first steps in ridding the Archive of its power. Mark is compelled to bring along his friend Danny, which he soon realizes might have been a horrible decision. They are joined by Amelia, a mechanical engineer with a massive secret that comes in the form of a supernatural entity. And of course, they are also assisted by Troy, who must put up with the absurdity of this universe.

Together, they find that the only thing that stands in their way is an enraged goddess.
