Darwin Ketter has always lived his life in a carefree manner. However, after dying in an unforeseen train accident, he finds himself living as the son of a duke in a world full of magic and fantasy. Still confused with the sudden turn of events, the duke reminds him of his upcoming magic affinity test. Given only a few weeks to prepare without any prior knowledge of magic, things get worse when he realizes his lack of talent and miniscule mana capacity.

It seems like the casual and carefree days of Darwin's new life will have to wait.
