It is the pinnacle of human brilliance, home to the mighty Soalan Empire and the Esthen Church. Magic is a part of everyday life here. Magic engineers program "rules" which can direct the flow of mana to complete a set task. These permeate throughout the middle and upper class, and the continent is currently at the cutting edge of this technology. Vaine is more advanced and more powerful than it has ever been—truly approaching a golden age of magic.

But what if that was all a lie?

Dominic, shipwrecked and confused, wakes up one day on the shore of a continent which isn't supposed to be here. No maps in Vaine show it; no schools teach anything about it; as far as anybody knows, the continent of Hesia does not and has never existed. One thousand years ago, it was forcefully isolated from the world by a huge, unbreakable magic barrier, making it impossible for foreigners to enter and for residents to leave. And on this hidden continent, Dominic finds demons—a race of people who are far more adept at magic than humans.

The history of demons and humans which had once been forcibly erased begins to see light once again, and with the advent of the first outsider to step onto Hesia's shores in one thousand years, a new history also starts to be written.

☆ This is not a webtoon. I only draw webtoons for the prologues for each part/book of the series.

There will be no romance in this story. This will also be a long running story, so it will not be ending anytime soon at all (I've already plotted out a lot of it, and boy she thick).

All illustrations are done by me. Each new part/book of the series will get its own preview webtoon, as you can see from the prologue. Illustrations will be limited to special occasions like the beginning of new books, as well as some worldbuilding things like character design sheets that I'll work on slowly as I get the time. Please do not request me to do covers or art for you, as I'm too busy just trying to manage myself :'( I love drawing, but it's time consuming and hard.

Release schedule is 2 chapters per week, released Wednesday and Saturday at noon EST. Each chapter is between 2k and 3k words, some going over 3k.
