Hundreds of thousands of years after humanity's tragic self-inflicted demise, all that remains of their legacy are 267 pods drifting slowly through space. Each one is a time capsule containing the entire collected history and knowledge of humanity at the time of its end, as well as everything required to give them a second chance. Many light-years away from the Solar system, a new human-like species has arisen and spread throughout their system, though not yet the stars. As they find themselves on the verge of a terrifying interplanetary war, one of these alien pods drifts into their system and changes the course of their history forever.
