This is my first time writing, please feel free to give me suggestions on how I can improve the story, style, or anything else!

After portals to Hell open all across the world and demons begin invading, animals start mutating and humans start seeing a mysterious system. Although they can see their stats like a video game, almost all the other functions are locked. Early on, some people discover the method to progressing their system; while some tried to hide it, others spread the information, allowing humans to fight back the demon tide. Charles Martel was born after humans had pushed back the demons, into a small family in a medium-sized stronghold. But is everything really as simple as people seem to believe?

This was inspired somehow by Dragonforce's Three Hammers, so there's that. I have a whole playlist of speed and power metal purely for writing now, it's exciting.
