This fiction has been dropped.

Berrick wakes up one day in another world without explanation. No gods of reincarnation to explain what happened. No system to guide him. No princess or great mage summoning him. No convenient encyclopedia of knowledge to help him. Nothing.

Instead, he only wakes up in an ancient forest in a body both foreign and familiar. How will he find his way through this ancient world of swords and sorcery?

***Not LitRPG. Although he is reincarnated as one of his characters from a video game, his abilities are 'translated' to a softer magic system.***

Written, in a large part, to vent my frustrations with aspects of the isekai setting / fantasy genre.

For all my fellow harem-haters out there rest assured no harems shall be found here. At least not for the main character.
