The Galaxy is in turmoil. Humans have begun infighting, killing themselves in a needless civil war.

This has in turn divided the Council, a coalition of several races that used to work together for the common good.

The powerful Xiphai have excluded themselves from the rest of the galaxy in preparation for the return of the Empire, a malevolent faction bent on conquering the entire universe.

And within all of this chaos, rumors have spread throughout the systems of a mysterious alien, one who hailed from a dimension that was completely and fundamentally unlike their own.

Many said she possessed alien powers beyond anything they knew and was capable of feats that broke the laws of all known physics.

Some called her Demon or Angel—others, Otherworlder—but in the end they all called her Visla, the Space Drifter.
